Hi, welcome to our blog where we will share our adventures as we bike cross country from Seattle, Washington to Boston, Massachussetts.  We are planning to complete this 3,500 mile journey in eight weeks, and hope to average 78 miles per day with one rest day per week.

There are six of us– three Landis siblings (Dave, Maria and Kristina) and their spouses (Anna, Jesse and Greg).  We are all riding Surly Long Haul Truckers and carrying our gear in Ortlieb panniers.  We will be camping out along the way and cooking our meals over camping stoves.
